Three Raptors Selected to All-Region Team

Rockville, MD - Three players from the Montgomery College Women's Basketball team were recognized with NJCAA DII All-Region XX honors.

Sophomore guard Litzy Lujan-Gonzales was selected for the All-Region XX first team. In her second season at MC, Lujan-Gonzales started 27 games, providing 170 assists and averaging 17.5 points per game. 

Freshman guard Tiana Carey started 28 games and averaged 12.7 points and 6.5 rebounds per game and was named to the All-Region XX second team. 

Freshman forward Sanai Massenberg was named to the All-Region XX playoff team for her postseason performance. Against Prince George's Community College, Massenger recorded a double-double, scoring 20 points and collecting 10 rebounds for the Raptors. 

The Raptors finished the 2024-25 season with a record of 18-11, reaching the NJCAA Region XX semifinal.
