The women’s soccer team opened up post-season play on Saturday, October 29th at home in the NJCAA Region XX Semifinal against Hagerstown Community College. With a victory, the Raptors (10-4) would advance to the Region XX Final to play Harford Community College. Having defeated Hagerstown 4-1 just two weeks ago, the Raptors entered the game as favorites. Hagerstown was not interested in playing to type however, and their defensive shape frustrated the Raptors in the early stages of the match. The Raptors were able to maintain possession and control the tempo, but remained unable to break through until the 33rd minute.

After a difficult loss to WVU-Potomac State, the Raptors looked to get back to winning ways against the Hagerstown Hawks. On the road, Montgomery College secured the 4-1 victory.

After a 10 day break the Montgomery College was back in action on Thursday, October 6th for their final home match of the regular season. The Raptors recognized sophomores; Nieve Barry, Aidan Carpan, Elijae Cobbs, Maila Hudson, Lizzy Mayo, Mara Pizzano, and Jho Quinteros before the match with region foe, Harford College.
