Game Summary
The Raptors fell to Harcum 3-1 on the last day of the 2024 Tom Bichy Invitational. Most of the game saw MC backed into their side of the field, and while the Raptors did create a few chances offensively, they were overmatched by the Bears.
Harcum dominated possession for most of the first half. The Raptors had trouble creating goal scoring opportunities and sophomore goalkeeper #44 Nadia Estrada was under constant duress. However, freshman midfielder #7 Kendra Wotchuin hit a huge outside the box goal to bring the Raptors right back into the game. Harcum though did not panic, and 13 minutes later picked up their 3rd goal of the night. A penalty kick was awarded to Harcum in the 75th minute, but Goalkeeper Nadia Estrada came up with a huge save to keep the score at 3-1. The third goal was enough for Harcum to leave the Rockville stadium with a victory.
