Game Summary

The Raptors cruised past Richard Bland College, ending the game with a comfortable 4-0 win.  It was a great bounce back game, after narrowing losing to Monroe University over the weekend in the final seconds. Oppurtunies were plentiful, but Richard Bland held on for most of the first half, before finally conceding the first goal of the match in the 35th minute, when sophomore midfielder, #7 Ismael Deme, put the ball in the back of the net, receiving a great assist pass from #8 Joao Ribeiro. The Raptors went into halftime with a narrow 1-0 lead, but came back out in the second half pushing tempo up front and quickly picked up their second goal in the 57th minute when #14 Hanmin Kim added his name to the scoring sheet, with a second assist from Joao Ribeiro. Joao was not done helping his teammates score, providing a third assist to #9 Ibrhaim Faye in the 71st minute. The goal of the game, and a top candidate for goal of the season, would come from #21 Angel Giron-Ramos, who took a free kick from the right goal line box, and struck a beautiful curve ball into the left post.
