NORTH EAST - Cecil College men's soccer took on defending Region 20 Division 1 champion Montgomery on Thursday, falling 8-0 to the visiting Raptors.
The Seahawks looked their best at the beginning of each half, holding their opponent off the scoreboard for the opening 10 minutes of the first half and the first 15 minutes of the second. Cecil's best chance to score came when Fernando Arugeta's shot was stopped just seconds before the halftime horn sounded. This attempt was the Seahawks only shot on goal for the game.
Cecil drops to 1-1-0 on the year after the loss.
