Game Summary
Rockville, MD – A Saturday afternoon matchup between the MC Raptors and Mercer CCC Vikings ended with the home team picking up their fourth victory in a row. The team is now 4-0 to start the 2024-2025 season. Mercer did their best to keep the game close, but the Raptors were relentless in their attack of the basket and rarely allowed the Vikings to come within single digits of the lead. This was a high scoring game and excellent preparation for conference play.
Coming off an impressive 96-87 win over Cecil, Mercer entered the game confident that they could pick up another win at MC. The Raptors, however, were fully focused from the start and did not relent the lead. Coach Wise made plenty use of his bench, consistently rotating players and the bench contributed plenty all afternoon. The Raptors kept the second half score at double digits and comfortably picked up the win.
