Raptors Volleyball Team Crowned the 2021 NJCAA DII Mid-Atlantic District Champions and Advanced to National Championships in Cedar Rapids, IA.

The Montgomery College Raptors volleyball team beat the Morris Titans this past weekend to be crowned the 2021 NJCAA DII Mid-Atlantic District Champions and punched their ticket to Cedar Rapids, IA, to play in the NJCAA Volleyball DII National Championship Tournament November 17-20.

On Saturday, the Raptors swept the County College of Morris, the winners of Region 19, in three straight sets, 25-14, 25-15, 26-19. The Raptors boast a 17-8 record and are one of 16 teams left in the country to play for a National Championship Title. The last time the Raptors volleyball team went to the National Championships was in 2019, the season before the world was put on pause due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. So this is the second trip, in just as many seasons, for Victoria Kenno and the Raptors to qualify for this trip.

The NJCAA DII Volleyball Championship bracket and tournament seeding will be announced on Thursday, November 11, via the NJCAA website (njcaa.org) and NJCAA Volleyball Twitter account (@NJCAAVolleyball).
