Towson Invitational

In March, the weather can be tricky to gauge and overcome, especially in the mid-Atlantic region. But the forecast was great for running. This track meet marked the first time the young freshmen competed with local colleges and various D1, D2, and D3 programs. Chisenga Mwape (FR) arrived to meet focus and was ready to run. Running out of lane 2, Chisenga came out with an "I'm getting fast today" attitude. running alongside another runner in lane 1 was a battle to finish line. His competitive 400-meter run placed him 37 th out of 47 competitors. With his family and friends watching, he wanted to show his progress thus far. He is looking forward to getting better and competing against other colleges next Friday in the Towson Senior Twilight Open.
