MC Men's Basketball Brings Home First MDJUCO Title Since 1992

First year head coach Keith Byrd and the Montgomery College Raptors men's basketball team are 2015-16 MDJUCO Champs! This is the first MDJUCO title for a Montgomery College men's basketball team since 1992 and the Division III team did it by knocking off three Division I teams.

MC Men's Basketball Finishes Regular Season 19-7; MDJUCO Tournament Up Next

The Montgomery College men's basketball team wrapped up their regular season on Monday February 8 with a 75-64 victory over the Anne Arundel Community College Riverhawks. With that conference win the Raptors finished the season 11-3 in the MDJUCO conference and 19-7 overall.

On January 6, the Montgomery College men's basketball team won a game with CCBC Dundalk by 31 points. Raptors freshmen Larry Holmes III finished with 10 points with seven assists and Juwan Wayne finished with 10 points and seven rebounds.

The Montgomery College men's basketball team fell to nationally-ranked division II Northern Virginia CC on Thursday, December 10, 82-77. Down only three points with 30 seconds to go, the Raptors could not close out the game.

The Montgomery College men's basketball team defeated CCBC-Catonsville on Tuesday, November 24, 94-86. Raptors sophomore D'Angelo Vaughan scored a team-high 29 points while his freshman teammate Patrick Smith followed up with 18 points and 16 rebounds.
