Raptors Men's Basketball holds off Prince George's CC Owls Second-Half Rally to win 63-61.

On Monday, the MC Raptors men's basketball team held off neighboring county rivals Prince George's CC to pick up their sixth Conference win. The Raptors took the lead in the game's opening minutes and went into halftime up eight points. MC would hold their lead until five minutes left when the Owls took the lead after a foul and two free throws.

The lead would change nine more times in the game's final minutes. Romario Pierre's layup gave his lead a one-point lead with 20 seconds to go, and Marlon Pratt would split a pair of free throws with two seconds on the clock to provide MC with the two-point victory. Pratt finished with a game-high 16 points, six steals, and five assists, while Pierre followed up with 14 points and six rebounds. Ikenna Ojiegbe chipped in with a dozen points, and Muhammad Abdulmateen came off the bench to record 9 points and 15 rebounds in the Raptors' two-point victory.

The win takes Montgomery College men's basketball team record to 11-7 overall and 6-3 in the MDJUCO.
