Rockville, MD – The Raptors hosted the Catamounts of Potomac State, and like the MC women's team, won in commanding fashion. The Raptors improve to 8-12 (1-6 in conference play) on the season with plenty of games to get back to .500 on the season.
#5 Ibrahim Abdulmateen-Robinson led the team in points with 16, along with 5 rebounds and 2 assists. #4 Jayden Rowe and #22 Will Tchatchoua each had 13 points, but it was Will Tchatchoua who picked up a game high 9 rebounds. The first half ended with the Raptors taking a 48-29 lead. The second half was much closer in points (42 MC to 38 Potomac State) but the huge gap in the first half proved to be too costly for the Catamounts to climb out of.
The bench provided a boost for the Raptors. #1 Kanari Smith finished with 9 points, while #11 Muhammad Abdulmateen contributed with a solid 7 points.
