Raptors fall to Garrett Lakers

Rockville, MD – The Raptors opened their December schedule with a close loss to the Lakers of Garrett College, by the final score of 65-67. MC came out strong in the first quarter, taking a sizeable lead, but the Lakers climbed their way back to take over the lead. It was a hard-fought game, that came down to the last seconds. The Lakers were able to hold off the scoring pressure from the Raptors in the final 2 minutes of the game to leave with a win. 

The Raptors currently have a record of 4-3 and will travel to Allegany of MD on Saturday, December 9th, looking to pick up their 5th win of the season.

MC women's basketball returns home next weeked for the annual MC Holiday basketball tournament on December 16th & 17th. Game times can be found on the MC Raptors website.
