Raptors Postseason Series Ends in Consolation Game at NJCAA DII Volleyball Championship

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA – The Montgomery College Women's Volleyball team moves to 17-10 overall after finishing the season this afternoon in the consolation game of the NJCAA DII Volleyball Championship.  

The Raptors battled in 3 sets against McHenry County College (IL) but fell short with the following set scores; 7-25, 17-25, 18-25. Helen Federline was credited with four kills, while Shola Oladotun, Sydney Babb, and Jaelyn Jackson had three kills each. Madison West led the team defensively with seven digs, while Federline, Babb, and Kira Ng each had five digs. Ng recorded eight assists which put her over the 500-assist mark for the season and 1,364 assists in her MC Career. 

The Raptors ended their season as NJCAA DII Region XX and Mid-Atlantic District Champions with an overall record of 17-10. They finished as one of the top 16 teams in the nation in Division II.
