On Tuesday afternoon, the Montgomery College women's volleyball team headed north to face Harford Community College Fighting Owls in a conference match in Belair, MD. MC took the first set 25-23 before dropping the following sets as the host Fighting Owls won the next three sets to win the match, 3-1 (25-23, 15-25, 13-25, 23-25).
Montgomery (4-1) struggled with its attack percentage (0.029) throughout the match. Freshman Sydney Babb led the Raptors with team-high ten kills to go with 16 digs to record her first double-double. Sophomore Simay Aybak recorded a season-high 22 digs.
