Raptors Volleyball Picked up Two Wins in Twin Bill WAU and PUC.

Montgomery College Raptors women's volleyball drops only one set to pick up on the day en route to two wins in a twin bill gameday against Washington Adventist University Shock and Pacific Union College Pioneers.

The Raptors won their early afternoon match against Washington Adventist University in three straight sets 25-16, 25-15, 25-9. In the afternoon match, Montgomery defeated Pacific Union College, 3-1 (25-13, 25-17, 22-25, 25-18).

MC started strong against the Shock to win in three sets. Simay Aybak was strong on the defensive with nine digs, while Helen Federline and Jaelyn Jackson managed the offensive attack to combine for ten kills. Kira Ng would record 8 points for the Raptors and dish out 12 assists, and 7 serves aces in the match.

Before the day was over, the Raptors would face one more challenge in Pacific Union College Pioneers. The Raptors would appear to slip up in the third set, but that wasn't enough to derail them from another victory. The Raptors would shell out 56 kills as a team, 17 from freshman Sydney Babb and nine from Natalie Nelson, while Jasmine Andoh-Thompson and ZaKya Mann would add eight kills each. Ng would record 44 assists in the match, tying her second-most assists for a game set back on Sept. 26 against Potomac State College. The Raptors remain unbeaten at 4-0.
