MC Volleyball Team Falls to Howard In Region Tourney

The Raptors volleyball team fell to Howard CC in three straight sets in the opening round of the NJCAA Region XX DIII Tournament.  

Caitlin Winans had seven kills and Pamela Ngando had four kills in the match. Christiana Wilhelm-Glab served up 16 assists and Gisselle Barreto had 17 digs. It was close match but Howard CC was able to capitalize late in the sets to defeat the Raptors 23-25, 21-25, and 12-25.  

The Raptors finish the season 5-12 and 5-6 in the MDJUCO with big wins over Garrett, Chesapeake and Cecil.  

Ruby Barrett and Caitlin Winans were named to the All-Tournament Team.
