Raptors Women’s Basketball Recorded 20 Wins in Regular Season; Enter Postseason Play as #4 Seed

The Raptors women's basketball team's 8-game win streak came to an end against Howard CC in the final game of the regular season 82-79. Prior, those eight wins came in 15 days, which will help the Raptors prepare for the postseason schedule with the Regional contests coming on back-to-back days.

Coach Gasque and the Raptors enter the tournament as the #4 seed and will face the #5 seed CC of Beaver County in the NJCAA Region XX DII Tournament Quarterfinal match Thursday, March 5th at 3:00 pm. In their previous match-up with Community College of Beaver County, the Raptors won handily by 41 points back on February 9th, 98-57.

The NJCAA Region XX DII Women's Basketball Tournament is hosted by Howard Community College (10901 Little Patuxent Parkway Columbia, MD 21044). Admission is for adults is $10.00 per day, students, staff, and faculty from participating schools with College ID and kids 12 and under are free. The semifinals will be held Saturday and the Championship on Sunday.
