Bio

Harvey Livingston who goes by “Trey” was inducted into the NSCAA National 30 Under 30 program and is the Montgomery College Head Soccer Coach. This is his 5th year with the MC program and he has been the Associate Head Coach the past three years. In his first as the head coach at the helm of MC he led them to a 14-game win streak along with a #5 National Ranking in the NJCAA polls. Also in 2015 he was named the by the NSCAA as the Junior College East Regional Coach of the Year. In 2014 he was honored by the NSCAA being named as the National JUCO Assistant Coach of the Year and as the top assistant he helped the Raptors finished the year with a 19-3-1 record and finished in 5th place at Nationals. In 2013 the MC program finished the year with an overall record of 22-3 that is the school’s best ever record in history. The team finished with an overall 3.2 GPA. They also went undefeated in the Maryland Junior College Conference, which had never been done before. In 2012 team finished the year ranked #2 in the NJCAAA National Poll and #4 in NSCAA National Poll with an overall record of 19-4-2.  The team finished with an overall 3.0 GPA. During his four years at Montgomery College they have won the Region 20 and District “F” Championship every year. Also they won the Maryland Junior College Conference three times and finished as the Runner-Up in 2015. As a staff they were also voted the Coaching Staff of the year for the Maryland Junior Conference, Region 20, and District “F” each year. He has helped the program advance to the NJCAA National Tournament all four years where they have finished National Finalist in 2012, Semi-Finalist in 2013, and 5th place in 2014 and 2015 where it was hosted in Herkimer, New York each time. He has coached 19 All-Conference, 16 All-Region 20, and 6 All-American players in his time at MC while having a record of 75-15-4.

He also spent two years helping on the Georgetown staff after an extensive collegiate playing career. He served as the Director of Soccer Operations and helped the team with everything from game day management, travel, marketing, video analysis, and promotions, while also performing many administrative and logistical duties. In 2011, the squad posted a record of 10-5-4 and made the Big East Tournament. The team received the NSCAA College Team Academic Award which requires a 3.0 GPA or higher.  In 2010, he was part of the of the Staff that captured Big East (Blue) Division title and made it to the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament with a record of 12-6-2. The coaches also received Big East Co-Coaching Staff of the year honors and the team received the NSCAA College Team Academic Award, while ending the season with a high rated RPI of 16. During his time at Georgetown 7 players were selected in the Major League Soccer (MLS) Draft. While performing duties as the Director of Soccer Operations with the Georgetown University Soccer program, he earned a master’s degree of professional studies in the Sports Industry Management program with a concentration in Strategic Marketing, Communications, and New Media with a 3.5 GPA.

A four-year letter winner and a three-year starter at Howard University, Livingston was also named to the All-Atlantic Soccer Conference and All Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference academic team every year. During his tenure at Howard, the Bison spent time in the Division 1 NSCAA Regional Rankings of the North Atlantic for the first time in nearly a decade. Livingston graduated magna cum laude with honors in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in leisure studies and minored in economics with an overall 3.7 GPA. 

A native of Sacramento, California, Livingston played three years of varsity basketball and four years of varsity soccer at Bella Vista High School. He was named to the Annual Sacramento High School All-Star Soccer Game and was an all-league performer all four years. During high school he was named Runner-Up MVP for league player of the year and led the squad to the school's first ever Sac-Joaquin Sectional Title. During his freshman year he was voted the Freshman Athlete of the Year for all sports at the high school. Livingston grew up playing youth soccer with the most distinguished club out of Sacramento named the San Juan Soccer Club.

Livingston has been a coach with the D.C. United Academy Program and worked as a Site Coordinator for D.C. United Summer Camps and its non-profit program, United Soccer Club that helps inner-city kids learn the sport of soccer and nutrition with healthy lifestyles. He holds the highest coaching education for the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and the United States Soccer Federation (USSF). He works with the Bethesda Soccer Club on the Youth and Seniors Girl’s Program as an ECNL Staff and Head Coach. He is also involved with the Olympic Development Program (ODP) as a coach for the state of Maryland.
