Raptors Men's Soccer Finishes MDJUCO Conference in Third Place and Hosts Region XX Semi Final

The Raptors men's soccer team fell to CCBC Essex Knights 5-1 in their final game of the regular season. Due to injuries, Montgomery started the game with only ten players and finished the game with nine after Anthony Jiminez was injured on a hard tackle late in the first half.  

Joseph Kitengie scored the Raptor's only goal in the match in the 88th minute with an assist from Wilmer Escobar. With that goal, Kitengie finished the season as the leader in goals (17) and points (38) in the MDJUCO Conference, and nationally in Division I, he finished second in goals and fourth in points. 

The Raptors finish the regular season 5-2 and enter the NJCAA Region XX Division I Men's Soccer Tournament as No. 2 seed and will host No. 3 seed Harford CC Friday, May 14 at 5 pm. 

While fans are not currently allowed to attend games due to COVID restrictions, all Raptors' home games will be streamed live on MC Raptor's YouTube channel.
