Youness Benmouna Named 2017 NJCAA Division III All-American

After an outstanding year for the Montgomery College Raptors men's soccer team, Youness Benmouna earns distinguished national recognition as a freshman forward as he was named a first-team All-American.
Benmouna provided a dominant performance in his first season with the Montgomery College Raptors playing in 21 games, scoring 21 goals and recording 19 assists. The Northwest high school graduate was efficient in his first year as he recorded 43 shots on goal with .531 shots on goal percentage tallying 61 points, three game-winning goals and five games with 3 or more goals.
The Raptors ended their season in the NJCAA DIII REGION XX TOURNAMENT Semifinals in a shootout with Northern Virginia Community College. The Raptors scored the second most goals in the nation on the season with 124 and finished the 2017 season 16-6-1 overall and 9-1 in the MDJUCO.
