The Montgomery College Raptors men's soccer team won their final game of the regular season against Allegany College of Maryland 11-0 and that momentum carried over into the quarterfinal of the NJCAA DIII Region XX Soccer tournament where Montgomery defeated Anne Arundel Community College 2-1 to advance to the Region XX Semifinal.
The NJCAA DIII Region XX Semifinal score will read as a 0-0 tie, but Montgomery lost to Northern Virginia Community College Friday evening 6-5 in a shootout. The Raptors finished the season with an overall record of 16-6-1, and they finished fourth in the MDJUCO with a 9-3 record.
The Raptors men's soccer team had an outstanding season and finished their season leading NJCAA DIII men's soccer in several areas statistically. After 23 games, which is more than any other team in the NJCAA, the Raptors finished first in goal scored with 124, first in assists with 124, first in corner kicks with 142, and tied for first in shots with 403 while averaging 17.5 shots per game and a .769 Shots on Goal percentage.

Benmouna recorded three goals and two assists in MC's victory over Allegany College of MD and also scored the first goal in the ninth minute of the Region XX quarterfinal game against Anne Arundel CC.
From the front line to the back line, this year's Raptors men's soccer team is young and aggressive on the pitch as Montgomery averaged 5.39 goals per game, which is currently second in the nation, and allowed less than one goal per game after the 23 game season.
