Raptors Hold on to Beat Harford Community College 69-68

The Montgomery College men's basketball team posted its fifth win of the season over the weekend with a 69-68 victory over Harford Community College Fighting Owls. The Raptors move to 5-4 on the year while the Fighting owls fall to 3-4.

The Raptors were down by seven at the break but rallied in the second half with an early 14-2 run to take the lead with 14 minutes left in the game. From there it was a battle to the end, but the Raptors rode the hot hand of Marlon Pratt, who 10 of his 14 points in the final six minutes of the game, to help the Raptors complete the one-point victory.

Marquise Trent would match Pratt in a team-high 14 point performance with eight rebounds, while Muhammad Abdulmateen would record 9 points and seven rebounds. Ikenna Ojiegbe and Marcus Trent chipped in eight points. 

The Raptors' next game is scheduled to take place on Monday, December 6th, away against Allegany College of MD.
