Men’s Basketball Recovers on Day Two of Holiday Tournament Early
The Raptors men's basketball team held off ASA Brooklyn Avengers in Sunday's Holiday Tournament match up 109-98. Raptors trailed by one point to ASA at halftime 46-45, but Montgomery's Agyei Edwards went off to score 30 second-half points and finished with a career-high 39 points on the day. Isaiah Jennings followed up with 25 points, Malik Abudu added 15 points off the bench, and Nicholas Johnson contributed 9 points off the bench in the 11-point victory.
Montgomery opened up the Holiday Tournament with a loss to Northern Virginia on Saturday 105-98. Edwards tallied a game-high 33 points, and Jennings dropped 27 points.
The Raptors' next game will be away against CCAC Allegheny on December 21st at 1:30 pm.
