MC volleyball picks up two wins over the weekend
The women's volleyball team headed out to Beaver County community college this weekend to pick up two wins on the road in a Tri-Match (3-1 Region XX and 4-2 Overall).
 
Allegany Scores:3-1
Beaver Scores: 3-0
 
The entire roster had an opportunity to participate, and the overnight visit gave the team lots of time to get to know each other, preparing for a competitive season ahead.  
 
Bright spots were Sophomore Arianna Davey from the Middle with 14 kills and 14 blocks, and Freshman Jaynna Crocker (OH) with 8 aces.  Freshman Milena Bates (Libero) with 25 digs and 5 aces, and Freshman Meghan Wessling (OH) adding individual points scored with a whopping 19. 
 
The Raptors next match is at home Tuesday, September 5 at 7:00 against Harford Community College.
