SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College women's soccer team moves to 0-6-1 overall, 0-4 in conference play after traveling to Montgomery College (MD) Tuesday evening.
The Raptors got on the board early in the 2nd minute of the game. They would tally once more before the half to lead 2-0 over Richard Bland. The Raptors would find the back of the net six more times before the Statesmen tallied. In the final minute of the game, Richard Bland was fouled and Angelina Finnerty stepped up to take the free kick. Angelina Finnerty found Gabriella Finnerty on the end of the service ball in, to put Richard Bland on the board. Rachel Fields was credited with six saves between the pipes in regulation.
The Richard Bland women's soccer team next hosts Harford Community College on Friday, September 29th in a 1pm non-conference contest.
