SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College women's soccer team moves to 0-9-1 overall, 0-5 in conference play after hosting Montgomery College (MD) in a non-conference contest Saturday afternoon.

 

The Raptors tallied in the 9th, 23rd, and 43rd minutes to take a 3-0 into the half. They would tally three more times in the second half to take home a 6-0 win over the Statesmen.

 

Rachel Fields made 13 saves on the day for Richard Bland. Fields is currently ranked

#2 in the NJCAA for saves. Angelina Finnerty had two shots on goal and Elisabet Bonilla Viera had one on the day.

 

The Richard Bland women's soccer team next hosts Cape Fear Community College on Saturday, October 14th in the final regular season match prior to the Region 10 Tournament. Kickoff is set for 3pm. The team will honor the four sophomores prior to the start of the match.
