GAMEDAY: No. 2 -Ranked Roadrunner Women's Soccer Holds on for Win Over Montgomery College Rockville

The No. 2 nationally ranked Roadrunner Women's Soccer team grabbed a 4-2 home win over visiting Montgomery Rockville (MD) Sunday to stay unbeaten at 4-0. 

Freshman Bailey Swietanski scored three goals while sophomore Alyssa Meglino added a score.  Goalkeeper Melissa Hires earned the win in the nets for trhe Runners.

The Runners scored all four goals in the second half despite an onslaught of shots vs. its opponent in the first half. Montgomery Rockville held the halftime lead before Swietanski and Meglino provided the second-half offense for the win, 

Next up for Coach Megan Ruttler's team is a road match at Ocean County College on Tuesday, Sept. 21 in a 4 pm start. 

 

 

Game Day Preview

The No. 2 nationally ranked Roadrunners' Women's Soccer Team will host a tough opponent in visiting Montgomery College Rockville (Maryland) in a home match Sunday at 12 noon. Coach Megan Ruttler's RCSJ squad enters the game with a 3-0 record following a 3-2 win over Union College in their previous contest.ville 

"Montgomery Rockville is always a tough opponent for us and we are excited to host this game," said Coach Ruttler.
