Prince George’s Falls On The Road To Montgomery

The Prince George's Community College Owls lost to host Montgomery College, 8-0 in Rockville on Tuesday night, September 5^th. The Owls, searching for their first victory of the season, fell behind early and weren't able to break the Raptors momentum as Montgomery built up a 5-0 lead at the half.

Division 1 Montgomery added three more goals in the second half while keeping Prince George's off the board for the entirety of the contest. The Owls tallied 5 shots versus the Raptors defense while sophomore keeper Bilal Odeh recorded 6 saves in the loss.

Tuesday's game was the third straight contest that the Owls, a D3 program, have played up a division after kicking off the year against two D2 opponents. As the sole Division 3 program competing in the Region, Prince George's will have to wait until September 15^th when the Owls travels to Harrisburg Area Community College out of Region19 to face their first D3 opponent.

With the loss Prince George's drops to 0-2-1 on the year with a matchup on the road at Northern Virginia Community College on Friday, September 8^th at 3 PM. Friday's game will be held at Mason District Park in Annandale, VA.
