Raptors Volleyball Finding a Rhythm Early in the Season

Raptors Volleyball Finding a Rhythm Early in the Season

The Raptors volleyball team is continuing to bond under new head coach Victoria Kenno. The Raptors were put to the test last Tuesday at home as the team dropped its first two sets to CCBC Essex. The Raptors rallied back to win the next two sets to force a decisive fifth set. MC was mounting a comeback but ran into a rotation error that cost them a point after the officials called for a point to be replayed. The Raptors ending up losing the match 3-2; 20-25; 13-25; 25-17; 25-10; 13-15.

The Raptors were quick to bounce back on Thursday defeating Cecil College in four sets 25-19; 25-19; 11-25; 25-11. Alejandra Borja recorded 3 serves aces 3 kills, and 11 digs while Christiana Wilhelm-Glab had 23 assists. Audrey Dipoko added six kills and Pamela Ngando recorded five kills in the victory over Cecil College.
