Volleyball team tryouts will be held first week of August

The volleyball team will hold open gym July 19th and July 26th at the Rockville Campus in PE Building in the small gym from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The MC Raptors volleyball team will hold team tryouts on August 2nd, 3rd, 4th, & 7th on the Rockville Campus in PE Building in the small gym from 6:00-8:00 p.m. each of those days. The Montgomery College volleyball team split at the Anne Arundel Tri-match on September 17. MC lost their first game in three straight sets to Butler County Community College. MC lost 25-14 in the first two sets and then 25-12 in the third set. MC's Audrey Dipoko had eight kills on eight attempts with seven digs.

The Raptors volleyball team is continuing to bond under new head coach Victoria Kenno. The Raptors were put to the test last Tuesday at home as the team dropped its first two sets to CCBC Essex. The Raptors rallied back to win the next two sets to force a decisive fifth set.

Volleyball will hold open gym every Monday from 7-9pm at the Rockville Campus in PE Building in the main gym throughout the Summer. Team tryouts will be held August 2nd - 4th & 9th – 11th from 7-9pm at the Rockville Campus in the main gym.
