Raptors Women’s Track Team Had Strong Showing at UMD Terps Invitational

The Raptors 4x100m women's relay team, Stacy Basmera, Blossom Akpedeye, Taylor Washington, and Khienya Benjamin, finished in fifth place with a time of 52.83.

Blossom Akpedeye finished in eighth place in the women's 200m with a time of 26.19 and finished in ninth in the 400m with a time of 1:02.20. For her efforts, Akpedeye was named NJCAA OTF National Athletes of the Week (March 19).

Taylor Washington finished in ninth in the women's discus with a mark of 27.38m (89'10") and 14^th in the shot put with a mark of 8.44m (27' 8.25").
