Bio

Phil was born in Bamenda, Cameroon. He grew in stature as a soccer player in the Maryland system, playing for Damascus Soccer Club. His collegiate experience includes being a two-year starter at Montgomery College and Frostburg State University. Winning multiple championships and awards, Coach Nana continued his Adult Professional Career at New Orleans Jesters, (USL) Mulheim Strikers (Regionalliga) and Catonsville FC (MML). Currently, Coach Nana plays professionally for third tier IFK Maryland in the ASL league. In Phil’s second year as head coach for the MC Lady Raptors, he already set high standards finishing in his first season with an impressive 10-5-1 record, and reclaimed the regional championship after four years of falling short and also received votes for the NJCAA National women’s soccer rankings.
