Keyser, WV - On the road in West Virginia, the Raptors dropped a 2-1 heart-breaker to Potomac State College on October 11th. In a tight match, the Catamounts took a 1-0 lead in the 29th minute as Neveah Hamborsky found the back of the net. At the half, the Catamounts led 1-0.
Montgomery College came out strong in the second half but struggled to find an equalizer. Pushing to score, the Raptors were vulnerable at the back and the Catamounts took advantage, doubling their lead in the 76th minute. The Raptors made a late attempt fight back, with Emilia Webb scoring a free-kick in the 85th minute to cut the lead to one. However, time ran out on the comeback and the Catamounts finished with the 2-1 win.
