Women's Soccer Players Statistically Ranked in MDJUCO

The MC Raptors women's soccer team is third in the MDJUCO Conference. MC freshman forward Ifeoma Aghanenu is tied for seventh for most goals scored with eight and tied for seventh for most points with 16 in the MDJUCO thus far this season while freshman teammate Nicole Godoy is tied for seventh in assist with six.

On Tuesday, September 19 Montgomery shut out conference opponent CCBC Catonsville 6-0 with all six goals coming in the second-half. Nicole Godoy tallied two goals for the Raptors while teammates Yasurys Peralta, Gabriella Fernandez, Lucie Kouonang, and Emily Carpenter each added a goal in the second straight victory over a conference opponent. 

On Friday, September 22nd the Raptors dropped their first conference game to College of Southern MD in overtime time 2-1.

On September 24th, the Raptors dropped a road contest to Rowan College at Burlington County 6-0. The Raptors are currently sitting at .500 for the season with a record of 3-3 and are 2-1 in the MDJUCO Conference.
