Raptors Women’s Basketball Receive No. 5 Seed in Region XX DII Basketball Tournament

The Montgomery College Raptors enter this year's Region XX DII Women's Basketball Tournament as the No. 5 seed with an overall record of 16-11 and 7-4 against Division II regional opponents. The Tournament will be hosted at Cecil College in North East, Md. March 7-10.

The Raptors will take on the No. 4 seed Frederick CC Cougars (12-11/ 7-4) in the quarterfinal match on Thursday, March 7^that 4pm.

In their last meeting on February 6th, the Cougars edged out the visiting Raptors 87-83. Coach Gasque and her Raptors will look to avenge their four point defeat this Thursday in post season play. The winner will advance to play in semi-final game on Saturday, March 9th at 2pm and the other team will exit the tournament.
