Raptors Women's Basketball Comes Back to Defeat Sullivan County CC 73-67

Women's basketball freshman Jordan Odom had 19 points, 11 rebounds and four assists as Montgomery came back in the second half to defeat DII opponent Sullivan County Community College Generals 73-67 on Saturday to even their record out at 3-3.

The Raptors women's basketball team outscored Sullivan 22-14 in the third quarter to tie the game at 53 after trailing 39-33 at halftime. 

Lauren Nelson added 15 points, seven rebounds, three steals and two assists for Montgomery, while fellow teammate Nusaibah Rashad had recorded her sixth career double-double with 10 points and 15 boards.

Mariah Ellis came off the bench for the Raptors and made a lay-up and her two 3-point attempts to score 8 eight points in the first 20 minutes of the game.  

The Raptors women's basketball team improved to 3-3 overall.

The Raptors play Anne Arundel Community College on Tuesday, November 20th at 5:30 pm at the Rockville campus and then when the team returns from the Thanksgiving break, they will travel to Garrett College on Thursday, November 29th for play their first conference game on the road to wrap up November.
