Montgomery College Hosts Tipoff Basketball Tournament This Weekend

The Montgomery College Tip-off Basketball Tournament is this Saturday and Sunday, November 11 and 12, on the Rockville Campus in the main gym. The MC Raptors men's and women's basketball teams look to set the tone for their upcoming season at home this weekend.

The men's and women's basketball teams are coming off +20 win seasons, and both teams won the NJCAA DIII Region XX Title at the end of last season.

"The women's first home game of the new season will be against Morton College from Cicero, IL on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. and the men host Monroe College JV at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday for their first home contest of the year. Come out and watch the MC Raptors basketball teams this weekend as both teams are geared up and ready for an exciting season.

The tournament will be taking place at the Rockville Campus in the PE Building main gym. There is a $5 Admission fee for all basketball games. Free admission for children under the age of 12 or valid student ID.

3 p.m.-- Northern VA vs. CCBC-Dundalk (men's game)
5 p.m.-- Montgomery College vs. Morton CC (women's game)
7 p.m.-- Montgomery College vs. Monroe College JV (men's game)
