Softball Dropped Two Games to the Riverhawks
Montgomery dropped two conference contests on Wednesday, losing game one of a doubleheader with the Anne Arundel Riverhawks, 11-0.
The Raptors struggled to get baserunners, recording only four hits as a team and leaving all four potential runs on the bases.
Game two was a different story, the Raptors scored nine runs on 11 hits. Samantha Nelson batted three-for-four with three RBIs and one run scored while teammate Mary Puig recorded two RBIs and one run scored hitting one-for-four in the game. The Raptors fell to the Rioverhawks 24-9 in game two.
Montgomery dips to 2-10 on the year after the loss.
The Raptors have a pair of doubleheaders away before returning to Rockville to play their final home game against Northern Virginia on Wednesday April 24th at 3pm.
