Four Raptors Softball Players Receive Postseason Honors

Aishah Abdullah, Abbey Kitchelt, and Alexandra Iacino were named to the First Team All-Region and Mary Puig was selected as an All-Region Honorable mention. Abdullah and Kitchelt were named to the second team All-Maryland JUCO as Iacino was named an All-Maryland JUCO Softball Honorable Mention twice, once for a catcher and once for an infielder. The Raptors softball team finished the season with an overall record of 8-20 and went 2-15 in the Maryland JUCO Conference. Abdullah led the team with a .529 batting average, 46 hits, 18 stolen bases and 30 runs.

The Montgomery College Raptors softball team have split three out of five doubleheaders this season, and the Raptors are 4-8 on the season.
MC Raptors Softball Holds Team Workouts Mondays and Wednesdays 4:30-6:30pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-5:00pm

Current female MC students interested in playing softball should come to team workouts.
