Raptors Men's Soccer Upset Frederick CC 4-0 and Split Melbourne Trip

Montgomery College men's soccer team handed the Frederick CC cougars their first conference loss Thursday afternoon 4-0.

Francisco Mangue helped put the Raptors on the scoreboard with a goal in the 27th minute assisted by Abou Toure.

MC would take the 1-0 lead into halftime and close out the second half with goals from Gustavo Argueta (56'), Akrem Seid (69'), and Joseph Kitengie (82') to earn the 4-0 shutout.

The Raptors took a two-game road trip to Melbourne, FL, where they won their first game with Spartanburg Methodist 4-0 and lost to Eastern Florida State College 2-1.

Montgomery sits at 12-4 on the season and 8-2 in MD JUCO conference.
