Men's Soccer Team Finishes Season 2nd in the NJCAA Region XX DIII Soccer Tournament

The MC men's soccer team finished the season 13-8-2 and second in the NJCAA Region XX DIII Soccer Tournament this past weekend.  

The Raptors defeated Northern Virginia Community College with a late goal in the 87th minute by Wesley Declid to win 1-0.  

In the championship game against the host team Prince George's Community College, the teams were very well matched. Both teams played impeccable defense, which made getting a clean shot off impossible. In the 78th minute, PG was able to capitalize off a loose ball in front of the goal to score the game's only goal.  

Juan Maraboli, Jason Davila and John Hernandez were named to the All-Tournament Team.
