The Montgomery College Raptors dominated the Westmoreland Community College Wolves by a commanding 113-81 victory. To start off the game, the Raptors started out in high gear as Thomas Loughry nailed a three after the team gained possession following the tipoff.
The Raptors' offensive power kept going with Ibrahim Abdulmateen and Cortez Whitney joining the three-point party. Their great ball movement continued to find open players for easy scores as Chris Levy dished it to Mati Szpin for an easy bucket. Szpin got one in return off of an assist from Franklin Ayissi Etoh to show some good team basketball, not being selfish.
Ian Pacal played a crucial role offensively, scoring efficiently and capitalizing on second-chance opportunities by securing put-backs. His contributions helped propel the Raptors to a commanding halftime lead of 55-39, setting the stage for continued dominance in the second half.
After the break, the Raptors wasted no time reasserting their control, as Thomas Loughry opened the second half with another three-pointer. The momentum continued to build when Ibrahim Abdulmateen electrified the team with a high-flying dunk.
It was a balanced team offense from the Raptors, with all players getting into the mix. On defense, Jordon Alphonzo showed up big on the block with an emphatic block. All-around performance for Franklin Ayissi Etoh, who recorded 16 points, 2 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 steals.
