Raptors Baseball Is 16-16 Overall, 6-8 in MDJUCO

The MC Raptors baseball team has had a rocky start for the month of April winning two of their last seven games. 

The Raptors were swept by Prince George's Community College in a hard fought battle on Sunday April 2 as they lost game one 14-11 and game two 3-2. Cole Wycoff had three hits, four RBIs and two runs in game one; Jordan Cissel added four RBIs and two hits in the early game. Greg Brown had a good day with five hits, three runs scored and an RBI. Brock Antognoni added three hits, three runs scored and an RBI in the two games. 

On Saturday April 8, the Raptors split the twin bill with conference opponent Anne Arundel Community College as MC dropped game one 10-5 but bounced back to win the night cap 8-1. Clayton Dwyer picked up his fifth win of the season in game two, pitching a complete game with 10 strikeouts, one run off six hits and no walks in the Raptors 8-1 victory. 

The very next day the Raptors split a doubleheader on the road against Coomunity College of Baltmore County Catonsville 13-3 in game one and winning game two 6-3. 

The Raptors are currently 16-16 on the season overall and 6-8 in MDJUCO Conference play.
