The Lions losing streak falls to five after losing to the Montgomery College Raptors 76-68. The Lions had a lead for the majority of the game but fell short in the end.

The Lions were up 13-12 before an 11-2 run forcing the Raptors to call a timeout with 11 minutes to go in the first half 24-14. By the 8 minute mark the Lions were up 32-16. No team could outdo each other as the lead stayed in double digits for the rest of the half. The half ended on a blocked shot that turned into a layup for the Raptors but they were still down 11, Lions lead 45-34. Murray Grant had 15 points and the Lions were shooting 61.5% at halftime.

For the first 5 minutes of the second half neither team could break away. Amear Johnson made a three that put the lead at 12, 56-44. The Raptors would then out score the Lions 17-4 for the next 7 and a half minutes as the Lions could only find points from the line. Johnson would score a layup at the 7:23 mark to give the Lions the lead once again 62-61. The Lions ran out of gas as they only scored 6 more points while three players fouled out finishing the game 76-68 with their 5th straight loss. The Lions shot 12-25 (48%) from the line which did not help their cause.

Murray Grant was your leading scorer with 15. Amear Johnson had 14 points and grabbed a team leading 8 rebounds. Jordan Foster had 12 points and led the team with 8 assists. Balenga Kabassu had 12 points and 7 rebounds.
