NORTH EAST, Md. - Cecil volleyball dropped a three-set contest to the Montgomery Raptors on Wednesday evening at home. 

After coming out flat early, the Seahawks bounced back in the next set. Cecil kept things close and pulled within two points late (20-18), but the Raptors collected five of the last seven points to take the set. 

10 straight Montgomery points to open the final set ultimately doomed the Seahawks. Cecil fought back and made it competitive, with the score settling at 16-11 midway through the set. Ultimately, the Raptors proved to be too much as they took the final set 25-16.

Cecil dips to 7-4 (4-4 in Region 20) on the year.
