Men's Basketball Topples Montgomery

ROCKVILLE, Md. – The Anne Arundel Community College men's basketball team got back in the win column Saturday with a 75-64 victory over host Montgomery College in NJCAA Region 20 divisional action.

AACC (6-10) led by one at halftime and exploded for 46 points in the second half to defeat the Raptors. As a team, the Riverhawks shot 53.7% from the floor and 80% from the charity stripe.

Jeremiah Stroman scored 10 of 11 from the free throw line and led AACC with 28 points, eight rebounds, and four assists. Kris Peet added 16 points and three assists. Joining them in double-digit scoring was Angelo Harris, who went 4-for-5 from the floor en route to 10 points and five rebounds.

AACC, which moves to 4-4 in Region 20 divisional games, is back in action on Wednesday, January 24, in a 7:30 p.m. game at Division I Harford.
