Join Us on December 7 to Honor Coach Steve Hobson

Steve Hobson coached basketball at Germantown and at Rockville during his 29 years at Montgomery College. Former players, fans, and friends will gather at the Rockville Campus Physical Education Center Friday, December 7, to recognize Coach Hobson's career.  Coach Keith Byrd is organizing a celebration for Coach Hobson at 6 pm in the Small Gym, followed by halftime honors when MC hosts the Community College of Allegheny County at 7 pm in the Main Gym.

 

If you will be in the Rockville area, please mark your calendar now, and plan to join us on December 7th! We encourage you to share this information with teammates and friends, to ensure that other athletics alumni are aware of the event. RSVPs are requested by Nov. 30. 

 

As part of the celebration we hope to raise $10,000 in Coach Hobson's honor to create the Coach Steve Hobson Endowed Scholarship for Men's Basketball.  We would like to complete the fundraising for the scholarship by December 31, 2018.  If $10,000 is not raised, all monies will go to support men's basketball.
