The sophomore guard has helped lead his team to a 2-1 start on the season by shooting 51% from three-point range and averaging 33.3 points per game in the first week of the season.  Turner was also named NJCAA Player of the Week by the National Office for his performance on the hardwood during the second week of the season.

The Raptors were trailing 92-89 with 5 seconds remaining in the second half against Northern Virginia on Sunday, Nov. 12, Collin Turner dribbled the ball the length of the court and pulled up with one second remaining, with two defenders obstructing his view of the basket, and made a 25 footer to send the game into overtime.  In OT Turner pulled down a big defensive rebound and made two free throws to put his team up three points (102-99) with seven seconds remaining in the game. After the last chance 3 point attempt by NOVA, the Raptors would go on to win 102-99. Turner had a team-high 36 points and nine rebounds in the contest.
